JIPC Management is the Restaurant Support Center for John’s Incredible Pizza Company. Located in Rancho Santa Margarita, we provide support to restaurant operations for all John’s Incredible Pizza Company locations.
Johns Incredible Pizza Co. was established in 1997. We are planning to develop three restaurants facilities per year over the next three years and we need incredible people to help make this happen! Our restaurant facilities are approximately 50,000 square and include multiple themed dining rooms and a Fun World filled with rides and attractions for all ages. We strive to create a fun, family environment where our guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat food and fun under one roof.
Group Sales Manager
The Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating group top -line revenue for the JIPC Beaverton, Oregon store. Group business is sourced through outside direct sales and telephone prospecting. Group markets include, however are not limited to the Corporate, Social, Government and Tour markets. The position is based in the Portland area.
Essential Functions
• Develops and maintains relationships with key clients in order to produce group business, ranging in size from 10 people to 3000 people.
• Accepts all requests for proposals and pursues all leads for group business including responding to inquiries and executing group contracts.
• Develops store-level sales plans to support overall system-wide plans, strategies and programs.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with officials and representatives within the local market and attends relevant community events and trade shows.
• Responsible for conducting store tours for potential clients.
• Develops and maintains monthly production reports and group sales program statistics.
• Monitors sales activities/performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan and to accurately report variances/projections.
• Works in tandem with on-site Party Central Team Members to execute group events.
Qualifications
• High school degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related field preferred.
• Must possess a minimum of 4 years of group sales experience in the hotel or hospitality field.
• Must possess knowledge of key decision makers within the Portland market and have built relationships with these accounts and their travel management companies.
• Must have experience in generating sales leads, RFP process, contract negotiations and account management.
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database software programs for market research activities.
• Must be web savvy with working knowledge of social platforms, account management programs and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and work well under tight deadlines.
